Hazard summary
Incorrect gas pressure can increase flame lift or delayed ignition risk near the cook surface.
Compare these values to the label on your appliance before requesting a remedy.
This notice summarizes a voluntary recall affecting select DCS outdoor grill configurations sold between 2022 and 2025. Under rare thermal cycling conditions, a supplier batch of regulators may not maintain consistent downstream pressure, which can cause rough ignition, lifted flames, or repeated safety shutoffs.
Owners reported unexpected flame lift at low settings and occasional “pop” ignition on first light after cool-down. If your serial appears in the official list, close the gas supply at the source, do not operate burners, and do not attempt to adjust the regulator yourself.
What to do: Photograph your rating plate, confirm eligibility through the manufacturer or CPSC listing, and schedule the no-cost regulator replacement program. Until the remedy is completed, keep the area clear and follow local gas odor protocols if you ever smell gas.
Follow the official program from CPSC or the manufacturer for refunds, repairs, or replacements.
Free in-home or dealer regulator swap plus leak check; keep gas off until verified.
