Points to the defrost subsystem—heaters, defrost thermostat or sensor, or defrost control strategy. You may notice frost on the evaporator cover or warm fresh food while the freezer still feels cold. Avoid chipping ice inside the cabinet; schedule service if frost builds quickly after a manual defrost.

The appliance is reporting a fault tied to one or more internal fans—evaporator, condenser, or multi-speed air movers depending on model. Covers errors the software groups with refrigerator compartment temperature sensing. Erratic set points, rapid alarm cycling, or sections that feel wrong for the display can accompany these codes.
