Ranges / Ovens Error Codes

DCS
F1
F1 – Oven control fault
HIGH
The control board is reporting an internal fault or failed self-test. Power the unit off at the breaker for one minute, then restore power. If F1 returns or the oven will not heat, schedule service—control or sensor circuits may need replacement.
F2
F2 – Oven over-temperature
HIGH
The oven has exceeded a safe temperature limit. Turn off the oven, let it cool with the door closed, and cancel any active clean cycle. If F2 appears during normal baking, a stuck relay, failed sensor, or cooling fan issue may be present—do not continue cooking until checked.
F3 / F4
F3 / F4 – Temperature sensor fault
MEDIUM
The control is not receiving a valid reading from the oven temperature sensor. You may see slow preheat, wrong setpoint, or shutdown mid-cycle. Sensor resistance and wiring are checked during service; do not bypass safety limits yourself.
LOC
LOC – Control lock active
MEDIUM
Child lock or control lock is enabled, so keys are disabled. Hold the lock button per your manual (often three seconds) to clear. If LOC will not clear after power cycle, the touch panel or control may need repair.
Burner won't light
Burner will not light (gas range)
HIGH
No flame after clicking often points to a weak igniter, clogged burner ports, or a valve that is not opening. If you smell gas with knobs off, follow your utility’s gas odor instructions and do not keep clicking the igniter.
Uneven bake
Uneven baking or roasting
MEDIUM
Hot or cold spots can come from a failed convection fan, a weak bake element, rack position, or a sensor that reads incorrectly. Note which rack and mode you used—convection vs standard bake—so diagnostics match how you cook.
