Ice Maker Error Codes

DCS
DOOR
DOOR – Ice maker indicator
MEDIUM
The ice maker or dispenser interlock sees an open door or bin. Close the freezer or ice compartment fully, make sure the ice bin is seated, and clear ice bridges that hold the door ajar. If DOOR stays on with everything shut, switches, alignment, or wiring should be inspected.
OFF (flashing)
OFF (flashing) – Ice maker indicator
MEDIUM
Usually means ice production is turned off in software or the control has paused the icemaker. Check the on/off setting in the dispenser menu or UI, and confirm the bail arm or electronic switch is not in the off position. If OFF flashes when production should run, control or sensor input may be at fault.
ICE (flashing)
ICE (flashing) – Ice maker indicator
MEDIUM
Often calls attention to an ice maker fault—stuck harvest, long fill, or thermistor issues depending on series. Look for obvious jams with power off; verify water pressure meets manufacturer spec. Flashing ICE that continues after reset typically needs professional diagnostics.
All indicators flashing
All indicators flashing – Ice maker
HIGH
Represents a general fault or startup test failure on modular ice makers or dispenser panels. Unplug or switch off for one minute, then restore power once. If every indicator still flashes, the service module, optics, or supply voltage may need testing—avoid repeated power cycling.
